Two cycles rather than three. The 66-bead composition is most at home in Turkish and Balkan tradition, and it wants a different profile from a Gulf strand.

The profile changes with the count
Turkish and Balkan taste runs to the olive profile and deeper cognac tones, and a 66-bead strand in that specification looks and behaves quite differently from a Gulf 33-bead barrel piece. Sending one market the other market’s assortment is the most common avoidable mistake in this trade.
We build 66-bead strands with the separators placed to divide the composition as the tradition expects rather than mechanically at the thirds, and we will ask which convention your market follows rather than assume.
Weight and hang
At 8–10 mm a 66-bead strand hangs long and moves well, which is much of its appeal. Push it to 12 mm and it becomes a two-hand object; that is occasionally what a buyer wants and more often not.
Cord tension matters more at this length. A strand that is strung slightly loose will show it as soon as it hangs, so tension is set and checked rather than left to the assembler’s judgement.
What buyers ask about this
Türkiye and the Balkans predominantly, where two cycles complete the tasbih.
Olive and barrel, usually in deeper cognac tones — the Turkish and Balkan preference.
To the convention your market follows. We ask rather than defaulting to mechanical thirds.
