OEM Prayer Beads Manufacturing

You hold the design. We hold the process. OEM production means your specification, your drawings, your brand — manufactured to a documented standard and repeatable indefinitely.

IP ownership
Your design remains entirely yours. Nothing is re-used.
Documented runs
Batch, tooling and inspection records retained per order.
Third-party QC
SGS, BV, Intertek and client inspectors welcomed.
Repeat supply
Reorders executed against the archived production file.
Reserved tooling
Custom profiles and dies are held for your programme rather than returned to general stock.
Physical proofs
Marks and artwork approved in the hand at final size, and retained with the production file.

What OEM means here

In an OEM engagement the intellectual property is yours from the first conversation to the last shipment. We are executing your design, not licensing ours. Every drawing, profile and colour target you supply is stored against your account and used for no other purpose.

Our contribution is manufacturing engineering: translating a design into a producible specification, flagging the details that will cause yield or durability problems, and holding tolerance across production.

Repeatability is the product

The reason brands move from a trading company to a manufacturer is almost always the same — the second order did not match the first. Trading intermediaries cannot control which workshop fills a repeat order.

We record material batch, tooling, finish profile, cord specification and inspection results for every production run. A reorder is executed against that record, not against a fresh interpretation of the original brief.

Quality gates and documentation

Nine inspection gates run from raw stock qualification through to sealed carton. Dimensional checks are logged against a master gauge; colour is verified under standardised lighting; every finished strand is hand-inspected before packing.

Inspection records, material declarations and packing lists ship with each order. Third-party inspection agencies are welcome and are given full floor access.

Who owns what

You own the design, the specification and the production file. We own the process knowledge that makes it repeatable. A custom profile developed for your programme is reserved to it and is not offered to anyone else, and the tooling is held rather than returned to general stock.

This matters more than it sounds. The most common way a private programme leaks is not industrial espionage; it is a factory quietly reusing a profile because it is already set up. We hold reserved profiles as a matter of policy and will put it in writing, which is a cheaper commitment for an honest supplier to make than for a dishonest one to keep.

Sampling that answers questions

A sample round is worth doing properly once rather than cheaply three times. We send three to five variations built from a single reserved batch, so the only differences between them are the variables under test. Seven to ten working days, couriered.

The most useful thing a buyer can do with them is nothing for a week. Carry one, hand it to two people who buy in your market, and see which one comes back. Decisions made in the first ten minutes are made on novelty; decisions made after a week are made on the thing the customer will actually experience.

Change control once a programme is running

Specifications change — a cord supplier discontinues a colour, a market asks for a slightly larger diameter, a brand refreshes its mark. What matters is that changes are recorded rather than absorbed. Every change to a live programme is written into the production file with a date and a reason, and a new reference strand is retained alongside the old one.

This sounds bureaucratic until the first time a retailer asks why last season’s piece and this season’s differ. With a change log the answer takes a minute; without one it becomes a dispute in which neither side can prove anything. It also protects you from us: a supplier who changes a component quietly to protect margin cannot do so where every component is recorded and retained.

We treat a change as a small sample round rather than a note on an email. It costs a few days and it prevents the far more expensive discovery that a substitution that looked equivalent on paper did not behave the same in the hand.

When to move from our specification to your own

Usually in the second season, once the market has answered questions no brief could. The signals are consistent: you know which diameter sells, you know which tone reorders, and you have a specific complaint or wish that our standard specification cannot express. That is the point at which a custom profile earns its tooling.

Moving earlier is generally spending development budget on assumptions. We will say so, and we will hold the conversation open rather than closing it — the file we keep from season one is exactly what makes season two’s custom work fast and cheap when the time comes.

Questions

OEM Prayer Beads Manufacturing — what buyers ask

No. Client designs and tooling are exclusive to that client and are retired from general production.

Yes — STEP, IGES, DWG and PDF drawings are all workable. We return a manufacturability review before quoting.

Yes, at any stage. We give inspectors full access to the production floor and to our own inspection records.

One hundred pieces per specification, with lower thresholds available during development.

The tooling is reserved to your programme and held rather than returned to general stock. We put that in writing, because it is the commitment most easily broken quietly.

Written into the production file with a date and a reason, with a new reference strand retained alongside the old one. A change is treated as a small sample round rather than an email.
