Amber Misbaha for Saudi Arabia

المملكة العربية السعودية

Our largest market and the most demanding. Saudi buyers know amber, handle it before they buy it, and notice a strand that has been assembled without care.

Honey and golden tones lead decisively. 10–12 mm is the volume diameter; 12–14 mm dominates the gifting and collector tiers. Demand concentrates sharply around Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and Hajj season.

Retail and gifting run on different clocks

Retail assortments are planned three to four months before Ramadan; institutional and corporate gifting programmes need five to six because of approval chains. We plan both backwards from the fixed date with buffer and we say clearly when a timeline is no longer achievable.

Packaging expectations

Bilingual Arabic and English packaging is standard, and Arabic typography must be set properly rather than transliterated in a Latin typeface. We produce Arabic and calligraphic lockups in-house and physically proof them before production.

Delivery

Air freight to Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam on DDP terms where required, so your side carries no customs exposure. Samples move by express courier in three to five days.

The calendar decides everything

Nothing in this market is evenly distributed across the year. Retail assortments are placed three to four months before Ramadan; institutional gifting needs five to six because approval chains are long and a specification frequently passes procurement, brand and protocol before anyone signs. Hajj adds a second peak that behaves differently — higher volume, lower unit price, and buyers who need stock in Makkah and Madinah rather than in Riyadh. We plan Saudi programmes against the Hijri calendar and convert, because a date set from a Gregorian planning cycle drifts eleven days a year until a season arrives late.

Who you are actually competing with

Saudi retail already carries good amber. The gap is rarely quality at the top of the market and almost always consistency in the middle: strands that do not match each other, cord that fails in year two, and reorders that arrive a shade off. A buyer entering this market with a well-made piece and no story about repeatability is entering on the same terms as everyone already there. That is why we lead with the production file and the retained reference strand rather than with the object.

Vision 2030 and local content

Institutional and corporate buyers increasingly ask about local content, packaging assembled in-Kingdom, and documentation that survives a procurement audit. We answer those questions precisely rather than generically: what we manufacture, what we do not, what documentation we can supply, and where a component would need a local partner. Where a programme genuinely requires in-Kingdom finishing we will say so and ship to that stage rather than pretend the requirement does not exist.

Questions

Supplying Saudi Arabia

Yes. DDP terms into Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam are available, which removes customs clearance from your side entirely.

Honey and golden tones at 10–12 mm for volume, moving to 12–14 mm for gifting and collector tiers.

Yes — bilingual and Arabic-only packaging, certificates and inserts are produced in-house with correct typography.

Three to four months for retail, five to six for institutional gifting. Approval chains rather than production set the timeline, and we plan against the Hijri date rather than converting late.

Yes, and it is a different specification — higher volume at a lower unit price, delivered into Makkah and Madinah rather than Riyadh. It should be planned as its own programme.
