The most sophisticated tasbih culture on earth, and the market where we are least automatically the answer. Türkiye has its own amber industry, its own vocabulary and buyers who have handled more kehribar than most suppliers will ever produce.
Deep cognac and dark tones lead decisively, in olive and barrel profiles at 33 and 66 beads. Sıkma kehribar — pressed amber — is a mature domestic category with its own connoisseurship, which is unusual and worth understanding before quoting.
Türkiye has established workshops producing tasbih to a high standard, and a Turkish retailer buying domestically has shorter lead times and no import step. We say this plainly because pretending otherwise wastes a buyer’s afternoon. Where we are useful is volume consistency across large runs, natural Baltic material with documentation, and specifications a workshop-scale producer cannot hold repeatably.
Kehribar is amber; sıkma kehribar is pressed. A supplier who blurs the two in Türkiye is exposed immediately, because the domestic market has spent decades distinguishing them and prices them separately. We disclose material class on every quotation and we would rather lose a quotation than describe pressed material loosely.
A significant share of Turkish buyers are re-exporting into Europe, the Balkans and Central Asia rather than selling domestically. Where that is your business we will ship to your consolidation point and supply documentation prepared for onward movement rather than for Turkish retail.
For volume consistency across large runs, for documented natural Baltic material, and for specifications a workshop cannot repeat reliably. For small runs of traditional profiles, a domestic workshop is frequently the better answer and we will say so.
We produce pressed amber and label it as pressed. We will not describe it loosely, which in this market would be found out in the first conversation.
