Best for
The Luxury Series is not a material — it is a level of execution. Beads are matched within a 0.05 mm tolerance, metal components are cast rather than stamped, and the tassel is hand-braided from Japanese silk.
Each piece is numbered, inspected by a senior craftsman and packed in a lacquered box with a certificate carrying the client mark.
This is what we build when a brand asks for something that will be photographed, gifted at head-of-state level, or kept for a generation.
Macro study
Luxury Series
It is a set of measurable commitments rather than an adjective. Dimensional tolerance held to ± 0.05 mm across the full strand. Material selected rather than sorted. Cast rather than plated furniture. The nine polishing stages with three of them audited rather than assumed. Each of those has a cost we can show you on a quotation.
It also means a lower yield. Selecting for a matched premium strand rejects a greater proportion of the parcel, and that rejection is most of the price difference. A supplier offering premium specification at standard yield economics is describing something else.
On a volume gift compared side by side with two thousand others, consistency matters more than character and a standard specification in pressed amber is the better product. On an amenity replaced on a schedule, durability matters and premium finish is spent budget. And where the retail price cannot carry it, a thin premium specification is worse than a well-made standard one.
We say this because premium specified in the wrong place moves money away from what the customer actually encounters — usually the box and the cord — towards two things they cannot see.
Material disclosure as standard, and independent gemmological analysis arranged where the programme justifies it. We do not issue our own certificate of authenticity as though it were evidence: a supplier’s certificate is worth that supplier’s reputation, which is not the standard this tier should accept.
Presentation is treated as part of the specification rather than as packaging — rigid or lacquered construction, moulded interiors, and the unboxing sequence prototyped physically before production.
A Luxury Series programme takes longer than a standard one and almost none of the additional time is machining. It goes to material selection, because rejecting to a tighter standard means inspecting considerably more stock, and to the sampling round, because at this specification a decision made on a photograph is a decision that will be revisited.
We plan these backwards from the delivery date with the selection stage sized honestly rather than optimistically. Where a date cannot accommodate it, we will say that a standard specification built properly is the better outcome than a premium one built in a hurry — and we mean it, because the second is visible and the first is not.
± 0.05 mm across the full strand, with the tone band stated separately. Standard specification is wider and we state it per order.
No. For volume gifting, amenities, or any programme whose retail price cannot carry it, a well-made standard specification is the better product.
Material disclosure always, and independent FTIR analysis where the programme justifies it. We do not present our own certificate as evidence.
Cast rather than plated, identifiable by weight and by the edge of the casting. Hallmarking arranged where a market requires it.
Send a quantity and a market. We reply within one business day with a specification, an indicative price and an honest timeline.
